Xovoltib the prescribed dose for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer as follows :
For adult :
The prescribed dose is 40mg taken once per day.
For child dosage :
Ages of 0-17 years is not being studied in children.
The drug should not be used age under 18 years of age
For renal impairment:
prescribed dose is 30mg taken once per day
Take Xovoltib on an empty stomach. Consume the drug 1 hour before or 2 hours after a meal

Bullous and exfoliative skin disorder : Xovoltib 20mg can affect skin severely and show redness, rash, and acne. Inform doctor right away if you affected by severe skin reactions such as peeling or blistering.
Embryo-fetal toxicity:
Xovoltib 20mg will cause harm to the foetus when administrated to pregnant women.


Concomitant of Xovoltib 20mg with P-gpinhibitors (cyclosporine A, ketoconazole verapamil) will increase exposure to Afatinib
Interaction of Xovoltib 20mg with P-gpinducers (carbamazepine, phenytoin, phenobarbital) will decrease exposure to Afatinib
