Pregnancy & Lactation of Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg)

Pregnancy category: B

Treatment experienced pregnant women during II or III trimester: co administration of Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg)with H2 receptor antagonist or tenofovir, a dose of 400mg with 100mg ritonavir as a single use

Dosage of Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg)

In adults:

HIV-1 infection

Treatment naive :
Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg) is concomitant use with other anti-retroviral medicine like, Ritonavir The usual dose is 300mg should be given orally as a single dose with Ritonavir 100mg If patient taking Ritonavir is not able to tolerate, 400mg of Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg) should be taken once a day with food While combination of Efavirenz with Atavir: 400mg PO with 100mg ritonavir qDay
Treatment experienced :
prescribed dose is 300mg orally as a single dose concomitant use with H2 receptor antagonist and Tenofovir is administeres 400mg PO with 100mg ritonavir qDay
Hepatic impairment :
For Mild hepatic impairment is given 400mg PO qDay For Moderate hepatic impairment is 300mg PO qDay Severe: not recommended
Renal impairment :
300mg PO with 100mg ritonavir qDay for Final stage of renal disease hemodialysis: In pediatric: 6-18 years (treatment naïve and treatment experienced) Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg)is not recommended for <15kg: 200mg PO with 100mg ritonavir qDay for 15kg to <35kg weighing patients 300mg PO with 100mg ritonavir qDay for ≥35kg ≥13 years (patient non tolerated to ritonavir) 400mg PO qDay for patient weighing ≥40kg

Storage of Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg)

Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg) should be stored at room temperature, 68℉ to 77℉(20℃ to 25℃).

Container should be keep away from moisture, heat and light

Missed dose of Atazor300mg (Atazanavir 300mg)

if patient fail to administer the dose, advice them to take within a time. Otherwise the missed dose should be skipped and follow the regular drug schedule
